Cooling efficiency: Water ring pelletizing achieves instantaneous cooling through rotating water ring to avoid particle adhesion; strand pelletizing relies on slow cooling in the water tank, which is prone to deformation due to temperature difference.
Degree of automation: Water ring pelletizing supports PLC one-button start and stop, reducing manual intervention; strand pelletizing requires manual threading, and the labor intensity is high.
2. Advantages of water ring pelletizing
Ø Strong adaptability, suitable for special material processing
Soft and sticky materials: Elastomers (such as TPE, TPV) and hot melt adhesives with hardness < Shore A 40 can be stably cut, while strand pelletizing is easy to break and underwater pelletizing is too expensive.
Highly filled modified materials: Support PP/PE with a filling rate of 60% of calcium carbonate and talcum powder, no dust flying during cutting, environmentally friendly, and reduce dust pollution.
Thermosensitive polymers: Instantaneous cooling reduces high temperature exposure time and protects the molecular structure of EVA and biodegradable materials (PLA/PBAT).

Low dust and noise: The water ring blocks the cutting process, and the dust generation is 70% less than dry cutting, and the noise is ≤75dB.
