The core design concept of KTD high volume series twin screw extruder is to efficiently process highly filled, reactive and fluffy materials, while optimizing the balance between energy consumption and production efficiency.
The KTD series is designed for highly filled materials. By increasing the working volume and optimizing the screw structure, the materials can be evenly mixed and plasticized in the barrel. It is especially suitable for alloy blending and modification of degradable plastics. In the filling and modification of PLA and mineral powder, its large volume design can reduce batch processing time and increase production capacity.
This series adopts a high torque transmission system and high speed design. By reducing the energy consumption per unit output, it meets the economic needs of medium and large production lines and is suitable for cost-sensitive large-scale production scenarios. For material systems that require simultaneous chemical reactions, the KTD series ensures the uniformity and controllability of the reaction process through precise temperature control and screw configuration.
By expanding the barrel volume and increasing the processing volume per unit time, it is suitable for efficient processing of fluffy materials. The torque output is stable, supporting long-term continuous operation, and is suitable for high shear requirements of highly filled systems. The special thread configuration (may be a separate or composite screw) is used to enhance the material mixing effect and avoid the clogging problem of highly filled materials.
